How are you doing out there? I've heard folks talk about the rollercoaster ride of this election season, as they find themselves moving all over the Inner Map--Fear! Joy!! More fear...anger. Despair. Joy, appreciation, love.

From the Evolutionary Power perspective, each of us is the source of our own experience. Practicing this context, Evolutionary Power Institute community members notice body sensations, listen in on our thoughts to gauge what level of consciousness we’re currently at, track and move our emotions through our bodies. We understand the process of our own projections, and play around to shift so that we can live in the most expanded story we can. Then we're all set to choose the our next creative action.
Speaking from my own experience, that process is way easier to write out than to embody. Thanks to my EPI community, I get to keep being reminded of the the possibilities that awaken every time I pull myself out of the persuasive vortex of my Reactive Brain, back to the enlivening energies of Creative Brain.
As I anticipated the rock-n-roll of the months before the election, the creative action I chose (the “do” that we’ve been urged to take on) was to write my new book, On Evolutionary Power: A Path to Conscious, Sustainable Activism. (You can download a free pdf of OEP here; order copies of this beautiful little book here. And if you want to catch up on the first two classes, go here and here.)
To support folks in learning the concepts behind OEP, I started teaching an 8 week class Wednesdays at 1pm MT, called “Support Your Conscious Activism.” We’re two weeks in, but anyone who registers has access to previous (and future) classes.
I’m imagining that individuals will be able to form pods of their friends, family, and colleagues who desire to link arms during these next weeks, where we might experience the wide expanse of life, from being totally stressed out, to stepping into a fascinating time of new possibilities. (This book and class are all free to anyone who wants them; donations will go to EPI to fund costs of the book development, and cost of more books to send forth).
This is a great opportunity to learn new tools and practice them with a friendly, loving community. I hope to see you there!
With great respect and love,
Julie
