When I first learned about the Karpman Drama Triangle (where people fall into three roles, Victim, Villain and Hero)*, I had two clear blasts of energy. First I felt a euphoric moment of clarity and possibility, an opening in my chest as fog cleared. “Oh, so THAT’S what’s been going on in my relationships all of these years!! I’ve been totally power struggling!!”
Thanks to Andrea Gibson for sending me over here today. I think everyone gets caught up in the drama triangle, because, frankly, that's the story that gets told over and over in Western culture. I love read Pema Chodron for that reason... her work unknots the expected thought process. Your response was terrific! I started doing watercolor -- all art takes me completely out of my head and I already accept that I am not trained so there are no expectations. It is so fun!

Oh, that sounds fabulous--what a way to hang out in Creative Brain and go to such expanded places!
